These TIMEWORKS ships clocks (Made in USA) are built to be exacting reproductions of original "working" clocks found in boiler room and bridge alike. The solid brass housings have a soft patina and the glass lens protects the dial from the rigors of shipboard (or home) life.
Outside diameter brass Captain's style casing measures 11-1/4 inches in diameter and is 3-1/2 inches deep. Glass front bezel hinges to open and houses a 7-3/4 inch clock face. Face is made to look old and reads: "JOHN MORRIS" Spruce up any nautical theme spaces with this classic reproduction timepiece! This quartz clock is new, solid, and weighs approximately 4 pounds. Hatch on back side hinges open to adjust time and/or replace one AA battery (not included). Large Roman Numerals are easy to read from across the room. The front glass cover is solid glass.
